These sculptures were for a book that compiled a series of type manipulation exercises with the lowercase t from the Letter Gothic Bold type family. The lowercase t was put through a series of procedures, both 2-D and 3-D, including being carved on a linoleum block and put through a letterpress, drenched in paint, and cut from wood. It was a deliciously limitless experiment.
